The work of our Learning and Development Team plays a key role in identifying individual needs and developing programmes that help them fulfill their potential.

We recognise that as well as immediate goals, our employees have longer-term aspirations. Our Learning and Development Team ensures that individuals are given opportunities for longer-term business and organisational development. We particularly encourage employees to obtain relevant professional qualifications.


Performance management reviews

After induction, each individual's progress, and development needs are monitored at regular performance management reviews.

These reviews enable individuals and their managers to discuss individual performance against business objectives and AXA Assistance corporate values; to identify learning and development needs; to update training and development plans and to discuss longer- term strategies including professional career development.


Career

AXA Assistance encourages its employees to learn new skills and develop existing ones throughout their time with us.

We genuinely support the concept of lifelong learning. Our Learning and Development Team supports and encourages all our employees to develop their career within the company, or, if appropriate, within the global AXA Group.

All of our staff have regular informal meetings with their line managers where they can express their career aspirations and discuss how AXA Assistance can work with them to achieve their goals.
